PCMO (Passenger Car Motor Oils) OEM and Industry Liaison

In this function, you are responsible for representing Oronite technology at key passenger car original equipment manufacturers (OEM’s) in the EAME region and certain industry associations.

Chevron Oronite Technology b.v. in Rotterdam is one of Oronite’s four technology centers and provides product development and technical service support for Chevron Oronite’s automotive and marine lubricant additives.

For our Automotive Products and Technology Team we are looking for a

PCMO (Passenger Car Motor Oils) OEM and Industry Liaison

In this function, you are responsible for representing Oronite technology at key passenger car original equipment manufacturers (OEM’s) in the EAME region and certain industry associations.

Function

  • Responsible for relationships and managing joint development programs with OEM’s.
  • Identify opportunities, develops global engagement strategies and execution plans for OEM’s.
  • Influences OEM’s based on Oronite’s strategies.
  • Identifies trends and industry drivers that may impact Oronite technology and products.
  • Participate in negotiations of OEM specifications.
  • Represent Oronite in assigned industry associations and standards organizations

Profile

  • A mechanical, chemical, or business master degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in the area of automotive lubrication and/or additive technologies for OEM’s.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence OEM and industry direction.
  • Understanding of internal combustion engines and operation principles is preferable.
  • Project management experience.
  • Good communicative skills, excellent command of the English language and strong preference for German language skills and understanding of the work culture.
  • Enthusiastic team player who is flexible and can work in international, multi-cultural teams.
